Time flies quickly and this is the time of year we see that reflected in a rite of passage that will be taking place all around the area and around the country. It’s graduation season, a time to look back and remember, relax after a job well done and most of all it’s a time to celebrate! High School and college students will be doing just that very soon and NY Party Works is the place to go to plan that celebration. NY Party Works Creates “Lock-In” Parties You Won’t Want to Leave

One idea that’s become particularly popular for high school graduation celebrations is the “lock-in party.”  According to WiseTour, a lock-in party is essentially a big slumber party, usually held inside a school. Everyone in attendance has to stay inside the school until morning and can only be checked out by parents or guardians. It’s a great way to have a graduation celebration without having to worry about kids being exposed to alcohol or drugs.

And NY Party Works can make your school’s lock-in spectacular and memorable. We’ll work with you to bring the party entertainment you need to get your graduates up and dancing. We can provide you with DJs and music as well as lighting and ambiance, but that’s not all. NY Party Works can also supply other entertainers like circus performers, magician, and fortune tellers.

Games and Outdoor Graduation Events

We’ll also bring all of the popular party rentals you want for your event, such as game tables. For a night party, our LED games like foosball, mini golf, ping pong and shuffle board are always a big hit. Another must-have is one of our photo booths. Your school can go “old school” with our classic strip booths or go more hi-tech with our IT Booth which can take photos, videos or animated GIFs and allow you to text them or share it on social media. Another fun option is the Mirror Me selfie booth. This interactive attraction allows you to take photos by touching the mirror, which seems to have a mind of its own. The mirror will give you directions, compliment guests and even lead them in a screaming contest.

Of course not all graduation parties are indoors and NY Party Works can create a colorful outdoor event as well whether you’re hosting a private affair, a high school celebration or an on campus or off campus event. We can do a carnival with midway games like Whack a Mole where up to four players can compete. We also have cool inflatables like leaps and bounds, which is basically a segment of an obstacle course. Or food cart rentals such as a hot dog cart or a popcorn cart.
