Of course, planning an event outside can also be complicated. There are a lot of details involved and one of the most important is keeping your guests protected from too much sun or sudden rainfall. What to Know About Renting a Tent For Your Party

NY Party Works provides tents you need for all types of parties. It’s important to realize that there are things you need to know:

• What kind of surface will the tent be set up on? Grass, Deck, Concrete, Asphalt?
• How much space do you have? Measure for the correct dimensions.
• Check for any obstructions above.
• How many people do want to accommodate?
• What type of tables do you want? Round or Rectangular?
• Do you want a bar?
• Will you need side walls?

According to the fabric manufacturer Herculite, you should first make sure that you have enough room on your property to put up a tent. The number of guests you’re expecting for your event will play into this. For example, if you’re going to have 150 guests, you’re not going to be able to fit them all in a small 10×10 tent. So measure your property against the size of the tent you’re going to need to accommodate all of your guests. You also need to consider the surface you’re using to set up your tent.

NY Party Works offers a variety of sizes from small pop-up tents, 10×10 tents, as well as 15×15, 20×20 and 20×40 tents. We can configure many different sizes with our new hi-peak tents. We also offer tent sides, doors, and windows.

But we know that tents aren’t the only thing you’re going to need for your outdoor event. You’re going to need tables and chairs as well. NY Party Works offers chairs, round & rectangular tables, kiddie tables and chairs. You can rent 10-foot round tables or either 6-foot or 8-foot rectangular tables.

There’s a whole host of extras NY Party Works can provide, from dance floors to DJs and MCs. We can also add lighting and blocking to your tent as well and if you want to have an outdoor bar at your event, NY Party Works can add that too. NY Party Works can also provide any entertainment you need from interactive games, entertainers, and photo booths.

We also have tent packages for our customers. One package includes a 20×20 tent along with four 60-inch round tables, 40 chairs and lighting. You can substitute six 6-foot tables or 4-8 foot tables with this package.  If you need a bigger tent, NY Party Works also offers packages which include 20×40 tents, eight 60-inch round tables, 80 chairs, 2 serving tables and lighting.
